North East Mini Cup Racing Series was founded by Darin Briggs and Justin Dewalga in 2015 with only two cars. Racing out of 106 Race Park in Pembroke, NH.
In 2019 we became a non-profit and held a board of 5 officers with two members at large. This made the club much more dynamic and open to new ideas.
However, In the middle of the 2020 race season the 106 Race Park was purchased by a out of state aggregate company and we were assured we would have a place to continue racing through at least that season. However, shortly after starting our season we were told by one of the managers we were no longer able to race there. This put us in a tight spot given we were growing in car count and potentially had no where to race.
Our series President, Derek Sargent quickly jumped into action working with his contacts at other tracks to find us a new home. We raced primarily out of the track in Londonderry.
As of the 2023 season we will travel all around New England and enjoy some seat time at tracks with various levels of difficulty.
We continue to hold a strong, steady board of members who collectively have many decades of racing experience and each bring specific value to our group.
In closing, NEMCRS has had its ups and downs over the years but is undoubtedly at it's best with it's strongest car count ever. We will continue to grow and continue to give back to the community year after year. We hope you will join us for a race!
